பேபி மோசேயும் நதியும் /Bible Story

 King Pharaoh of Egypt enslaved all the people of Israel. 

One day the king of Egypt asked his servants what they could do to the people of Israel. 

The workers for it are the people of Israel who are multiplying. And the people of Israel are very strong. 

They told the king that if they left, they would enslave themselves and begin to rule over us.

Upon hearing this, the king of Egypt issued an edict ordering the killing of all the male children born to the people of Israel.

It was at this time that Moses was born. 

At this point Moses' mother Jokabeth and father Amram became very frightened at the king's order, so they hid the child for three months without the king's knowledge. 

But as the baby began to grow, they were afraid that the sound of the baby crying would be heard by the soldiers outside. 

So the baby can be put in a reed box and sent to the river. 

They thought the baby should go somewhere and stay alive.

The baby Moses was put in a reed box and taken safely to the Nile. 

Moses' sister Miriam was having fun hiding in the distance. 

Moses' mother prayed to the Lord that the Lord would protect this child.

At that time the princess of Egypt came to bathe on the banks of the river. 

Then the princess saw the reed box floating in the water and ordered her friends to bring the box. They also brought the box.

The princess saw the beautiful baby in the box and said, "This baby is so cute, it's definitely the baby of the Israelites." 

Immediately Miriam, who was standing at a distance and having fun, quickly came to the princess and asked if there was a mother I knew who would raise this baby and give it milk. 

She asked. 

To which the princess said OK bring it.

Miriam took Moses' mother to the palace. 

There the princess asked Moses' mother to raise the child safely and bring him to the palace as soon as the child grew up. 

But the princess does not know that she is the mother of the child.

Moses' mother took Moses to her home and raised the child with great joy. She raised Moses to be the best son in the knowledge of God. 

Baby Moses grew up. 

When the child grew up he went to the palace. 

As the son of a princess .....

The princess named the baby Moses, saying she had taken the baby out of the water.

God has a will for us too. 

The Lord will exalt us when we accept it, just as Moses did.

You can read about this incident in verses 1 to 10 of Exodus chapter 2.

1 Now one of the sons of Levi was married to one of the daughters of Levi.

Exodus 2: 1

2 And the woman conceived, and bare a son; and she conceived, and hid herself three months.

Exodus 2: 2

3 And when she could not hide it, she took a linen box, and anointed it with glue, and set the child in the reed by the river.

Exodus 2: 3

4 She stood at a distance from it, knowing what would happen to it.

Exodus 2: 4

5 Then the daughter of Pharaoh came down to be baptized in the river. 

Her nurses were browsing along the river. 

She found the box inside the reed and sent her nurse to fetch it.

Exodus 2: 5

6 When she opened it, she saw the child. 

The child cried. 

And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

Exodus 2: 6

7 And she said unto Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and fetch unto thee a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nourish thee with this child?

Exodus 2: 7

8 And Pharaoh's daughter said, Bring me hither. 

The woman went and fetched the child's mother.

Exodus 2: 8

9 And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will pay thee. 

The woman took the child and raised it.

Exodus 2: 9

10 And when the child was grown, she took it unto Pharaoh's daughter; 

He became her son. 

And she called his name Moses, saying, I have taken him out of the water.

எகிப்தின் ராஜா பார்வோன் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் அனைவரையும் அடிமைகளாக நடத்தினார். ஒருநாள் எகிப்தின் ராஜா இந்த இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களை என்ன செய்யலாம் என்று தன் வேலையாட்களிடம் கேட்டார். அதற்கு வேலையாட்கள் இந்த இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மிகவும் பெருகிக் கொண்டே இருக்கிறார்கள் .மேலும் இந்த இஸ்ரவேல் மக்கள் மிகவும் பலசாலிகளாகவும் இருக்கின்றனர். இவர்களை இப்படியே விட்டால் நம்மையே அடிமைகளாக மாற்றி நம்மை அவர்கள் ஆள ஆரம்பித்து விடுவார்கள் என்று ராஜாவிடம் கூறினார்கள். 

இதைக் கேட்ட எகிப்து நாட்டின் ராஜா ஒரு கட்டளையிட்டார் அது என்னவென்றால் இஸ்ரவேல் மக்களுக்குப் பிறக்கும் ஆண் குழந்தைகள் அனைவரையும் கொல்லும்படி உத்தரவிட்டார். 

இந்த நேரத்தில் தான் மோசே பிறந்தார். இந்த நிலையில் மோசேயின் அம்மா யோக்கபேத்தும் அப்பா அம்ராமும் ராஜாவின் உத்தரவை நினைத்து மிகவும் பயந்தார்கள்.அதனால் ராஜாவுக்குத் தெரியாமல் குழந்தையை மூன்று மாதங்கள் ஒளித்து வைத்தார்கள். ஆனால் குழந்தை வளர ஆரம்பித்தவுடன் குழந்தை அழும் சத்தம் வெளியில் உள்ள வீரர்களுக்குக் கேட்டுவிடுமே என்று பயந்தார்கள். எனவே குழந்தையை ஒரு நாணல்பெட்டியில் வைத்து  நதியில் அனுப்பி விடலாம். குழந்தை எங்காவது சென்று உயிருடன் இருக்கட்டும் என்று நினைத்தனர். 

குழந்தை மோசேயை நாணல்பெட்டியில் வைத்து நைல் நதியில் கொண்டு போய் பத்திரமாக அனுப்பினர். இதை தூரத்தில் மறைந்து நின்று வேடிக்கை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்தாள் மோசேயின் சகோதரி மிரியம். மோசேயின் அம்மா கர்த்தரை நோக்கி ஆண்டவரே இந்தக் குழந்தையை நீரே பாதுகாத்துக் கொள்ளும் என்று வேண்டிக் கொண்டாள்.

அந்த நேரத்தில் எகிப்தின் இளவரசி நதியின் கரையில் குளிப்பதற்கு வந்தாள். அப்போது தண்ணீரில் மிதந்து வரும் நாணல்பெட்டியைக் கண்ட இளவரசி அந்தப் பெட்டியை எடுத்து வர தன்னுடைய தோழிகளுக்கு கட்டளையிட்டாள்.அவர்களும் பெட்டியை எடுத்து வந்தார்கள். 

பெட்டியில் இருந்த அழகான குழந்தையைப் பார்த்த இளவரசி இந்தக் குழந்தை மிகவும் அழகாக இருக்கிறது இது நிச்சயமாக இஸ்ரவேலருடைய குழந்தையாகத்தான் இருக்கும்.இனிமேல் இந்தக் குழந்தையை நான் என்னுடைய மகனைப் போல வளர்க்கப் போகிறேன் என்று கூறினாள். உடனே தூரத்தில் நின்று வேடிக்கை பார்த்துக் கொண்டிருந்த மிரியம் வேகமாக இளவரசியிடம் வந்து இந்தக் குழந்தையை வளர்க்கவும் இதற்கு பால் கொடுப்பதற்கும் எனக்குத் தெரிந்த ஒரு அம்மா இருக்கிறார்கள் அவர்களை அழைத்து வரட்டுமா? என்று கேட்டாள். அதற்கு இளவரசி சரி அழைத்து வா என்று கூறினாள். 

மிரியம் மோசேயின் அம்மாவை அரண்மனைக்கு அழைத்துக் கொண்டு போனாள். அங்கு  இளவரசி இந்தக் குழந்தையை பத்திரமாக வளர்த்து இந்தக் குழந்தை வளந்தவுடன் அரண்மனைக்குக் கொண்டுவந்து விடவேண்டும் என்று மோசேயின் அம்மாவிடம் கேட்டுக் கொண்டாள். ஆனால் இளவரசிக்கு அந்தக் குழந்தையின் தாய் அவள் என்பது தெரியாது. 

மோசேயின் அம்மா மோசேயை எடுத்துக் கொண்டு தன் வீட்டிற்குச் சென்று மிகுந்த மகிழ்ச்சியுடன் குழந்தையை வளர்த்தாள்.குழந்தை மோசேயை தேவனைப்பற்றும் அறிவில் சிறந்த மகனாக வளர்த்தாள். குழந்தை மோசே வளர்ந்து பெரியவனானான். குழந்தை வளந்தவுடன் அரண்மனைக்குச் சென்றான். இளவரசியின் மகனாக..... 

இளவரசி இந்தக் குழந்தையை தண்ணீரிலிருந்து எடுத்தேன் என்று சொல்லி குழந்தைக்கு மோசே என்று பெயரிட்டாள்.

நம்மைக் குறித்தும் தேவன் ஒரு சித்தம் வைத்திருப்பார். அதற்கு நம்மை ஒப்புக் கொடுக்கும் பொழுது மோசேயைப் போல ஏற்ற வேளையில் கர்த்தர் நம்மை உயர்த்துவார். 

இந்த சம்பவத்தை யாத்திராகமம் 2ஆம் அதிகாரம் 1முதல்10வரை உள்ள வசனங்களில் வாசிக்கலாம். 

1 லேவியின் குடும்பத்தாரில் ஒருவன் லேவியின் குமாரத்திகளில் ஒருத்தியை விவாகம்பண்ணினான். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:1

2 அந்த ஸ்திரீ கர்ப்பவதியாகி, ஒரு ஆண்பிள்ளையைப் பெற்று, அது அழகுள்ளது என்று கண்டு, அதை மூன்று மாதம் ஒளித்து வைத்தாள். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:2

3 அவள் அதை அப்புறம் ஒளித்துவைக்கக்கூடாமல், ஒரு நாணற்பெட்டியை எடுத்து, அதற்குப் பிசினும் கீலும் பூசி, அதிலே பிள்ளையை வளர்த்தி, நதியோரமாய் நாணலுக்குள்ளே வைத்தாள்.

4 அதற்கு என்ன சம்பவிக்கும் என்பதை அறியும்படி அதின் தமக்கை தூரத்திலே நின்றுகொண்டிருந்தாள்.

5 அப்பொழுது பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தி நதியில் ஸ்நானம்பண்ண வந்தாள். அவளுடைய தாதிகள் நதியோரத்தில் உலாவினார்கள். அவள் நாணலுக்குள்ளே இருக்கிற பெட்டியைக் கண்டு, தன் தாதியை அனுப்பி அதைக் கொண்டுவரும்படி செய்தாள். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:5

6 அதைத் திறந்தபோது பிள்ளையைக் கண்டாள். பிள்ளை அழுதது. அவள் அதின்மேல் இரக்கமுற்று, இது எபிரெயர் பிள்ளைகளில் ஒன்று என்றாள்.

7 அப்பொழுது அதின் தமக்கை பார்வோனின் குமாரத்தியை நோக்கி: உமக்கு இந்தப் பிள்ளையை வளர்க்கும்படி எபிரெய ஸ்திரீகளில் பால்கொடுக்கிற ஒருத்தியை நான் போய் உம்மிடத்தில் அழைத்துக்கொண்டு வரட்டுமா என்றாள். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:7

8 அதற்குப் பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தி: அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவா என்றாள். இந்தப் பெண் போய்ப் பிள்ளையின் தாயையே அழைத்துக்கொண்டுவந்தாள். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:8

9 பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தி அவளை நோக்கி: நீ இந்தப் பிள்ளையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதை எனக்கு வளர்த்திடு, நான் உனக்குச் சம்பளம் கொடுக்கிறேன் என்றாள். அந்த ஸ்திரீ பிள்ளையை எடுத்துக்கொண்டுபோய், அதை வளர்த்தாள். 

யாத்திராகமம் 2:9

10 பிள்ளை பெரிதானபோது, அவள் அதைப் பார்வோனுடைய குமாரத்தியினிடத்தில் கொண்டுபோய் விட்டாள். அவளுக்கு அவன் குமாரனானான். அவள்: அவனை ஜலத்தினின்று எடுத்தேன் என்று சொல்லி, அவனுக்கு மோசே என்று பேரிட்டாள்.
