ஆதியாகமம் 15:1-6

Genesis 15:1-6

God was with Abraham. But he needed something else to be happy in life. He and his wife Sarah wanted a child of their own. They thought that their happiness was contained in that child. One day God said to Abraham, "I will be your shield and a great blessing to you."

God wanted them to know that Abram and Sarai were living a perfect life without any flaws because of His presence in their lives. But they could not understand it. Abram looked at God and called out to God.

God wanted them to know that Abram and Sarah were living a perfect life without any blemish because of His presence in their lives. But they couldn't understand it. Abram looked at God and called out, "Lord, Lord." By calling out, "Lord, Lord," he proclaims what we read in Jeremiah 32:17.declares.

Ah, Lord God, behold God, by your great power and your outstretched arm, you made the heavens and the earth; there is nothing wonderful that you cannot do. There is nothing that God cannot do. Why did Abram not understand that the Lord is completely sufficient for him? 

He could have lived happily even if he had no children, but he didn't want to live like that.

What do we see from this? 

It seems that Abram's faith in God was not enough for his life. We are also making the same mistake. We are also wandering in this world looking for happiness. Like Abram, we also know that our God is the Lord.

We also know that there is nothing that cannot be done by Him. Why do we not understand that He is the happiness that we seek after knowing and knowing everything? Why do we not know that He is completely sufficient for us? 

You may be asking, I understand. How can I get what I need with just faith?

Ask yourself if this question is correct. If you continue to read the story of Abram, you will understand clearly. Because he believed that God is the Lord, Abram received the blessing he was looking forward to, but he did not receive that blessing immediately. 

He received that blessing only after fully believing in Him. He believed and counted it to him as righteousness (Genesis 15:6).

You know the story of Abraham. God gave him a son. Through him came many descendants. They were like countless stars in the sky.

Well shall we conclude? 

Only one request before that. Keep these words engraved in your mind. Do not be afraid, .........(your name) I am your shield and your greatest blessing. May today be the beginning of your never-ending life. Continue your happy journey.

தேவன் ஆபிரகாமோடு இருந்தார்.ஆனால் வாழ்க்கையில் மகிழ்ச்சியாக இருக்க அவருக்கு வேறொன்று தேவைப்பட்டது.அவனும் அவன் மனைவியாகிய சாராரும் தங்களுக்கென்று ஒரு குழந்தை வேண்டுமென்று ஆசைப்பட்டார்கள்.அந்தக் குழந்தையில் தான் தங்களுடைய மகிழ்ச்சி அடங்கியிருக்கிறது என்று நினைத்தார்கள்.ஒருநாள் தேவன் ஆபிரகாமிடம்,"நான் உனக்குக் கேடகமும் உனக்கு மகா பெரிய பலனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்"என்று கூறினார்.

தாம் அவர்கள் வாழ்க்கையில் முழுமையாக வியாபித்திருப்பதால் ஆபிராமும் சாராயும் எந்தக் குறையும் இல்லாத ஒரு நிறைவான வாழ்க்கையை வாழ்கிறார்கள் என்பதை அவர்கள் அறிந்துகொள்ள தேவன் விரும்பினார்.ஆனால் அவர்களால் அதைப் புரிந்து கொள்ள முடியவில்லை.ஆபிராம் தேவனைப் பார்த்து கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே என்று கூப்பிடுகிறார்.கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே என்று கூப்பிடுவதன் மூலம் எரேமியா 32:17ல் நாம் வாசிப்பதை அவர் பிரகடனப்படுத்துகிறார்.

ஆ, கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவரே இதோ தேவரீர் உம்முடைய மகா பலத்தினாலும்,நீட்டப்பட்ட உம்முடைய புயத்தினாலும் வானத்தையும் பூமியையும் உண்டாக்கினீர்;உம்மாலே செய்யக்கூடாத அதிசயமான காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை.தேவனாலே செய்யக்கூடாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை.தேவனாலே செய்யக்கூடாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதை அறிந்திருந்த ஆபிராம் ஆண்டவர் தனக்கு முற்றிலும் முழுவதும் போதுமானவர் என்பதை ஏன் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை? தனக்கு குழந்தையே கிடைக்காவிட்டாலும் அவர் சந்தோசமாக வாழ்ந்திருக்கலாமே.ஆனால் அவர் அப்படி வாழ விரும்பவில்லை.

இதிலிருந்து நமக்கு என்ன தெரிகிறது? தேவன் மேல் ஆபிராம் வைத்த நம்பிக்கை அவருடைய வாழ்க்கைக்குப் போதுமானதாக இல்லை என்று தெரிகிறது.நாமும் இதே தவறைத்தானே செய்கிறோம்.நாமும் இந்த உலகத்தில் மகிழ்ச்சி எங்கே எங்கே என்று தேடி அலைந்து கொண்டு இருக்கிறோம்.ஆபிராமைப் போல் நமக்கும் நம் தேவன் கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் என்பது தெரியும்.

அவராலே செய்யக்கூடாத காரியம் ஒன்றுமில்லை என்பதும் நாம் அறிந்ததே.எல்லாம் தெரிந்தும் அறிந்தும் நாம் தேடி அலையும் மகிழ்ச்சி அவரே என்பதை நாம் ஏன் புரிந்து கொள்ளவில்லை?அவரே நமக்கு முற்றும் முழுவதும் போதுமானவர் என்பதை நாம் ஏன் அறிந்துகொள்ளவில்லை? நீங்கள் ஒருவேளை இவ்வாறு கேள்வி கேட்கலாம், எனக்கு எல்லாம் புரிகிறது.வெறும் நம்பிக்கையை மட்டும் வைத்துக் கொண்டு எனக்குத் தேவையானதை நான் எப்படிப் பெற்றுக்கொள்வது?

இந்தக் கேள்வி சரியானதா என்பதை நீங்கள் உங்களையே ஒருமுறை கேட்டுக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.தொடர்ந்து ஆபிராமின் சரித்திரத்தை வாசித்தீர்கள் என்றால் நீங்கள் தெளிவாகப் புரிந்துகொள்வீர்கள்.தேவனே கர்த்தராகிய ஆண்டவர் என்று நம்பிக்கை வைத்ததால் ஆபிராம் ஆவலோடு எதிர்பார்த்த ஆசீர்வாதம் அவருக்குக் கிடைத்தது.ஆனால் அந்த ஆசீர்வாதம் அவருக்கு உடனே கிடைக்கவில்லை.தன்னுடைய தேவைக்கு முதலிடம் கொடுத்த பிறகு,தேவனே தனக்கு போதுமானவர் என்ற தேவனுடைய வார்த்தையின் மீது முழு நம்பிக்கை வைத்த பிறகுதான் அந்த ஆசீர்வாதம் அவருக்குக் கிடைத்தது.அவன் விசுவாசித்தான்,அதை அவர் அவனுக்கு நீதியாக எண்ணினார்.(ஆதியாகமம் 15:6).

ஆபிரகாமின் சரித்திரம் உங்களுக்குத் தெரியும்.தேவன் அவனுக்கு ஒரு குமாரனைக் கொடுத்தார்.அவன் மூலம் ஏராளமான சந்ததியார் வந்தனர்.அவர்கள் வானத்திலிருக்கும் எண்ணிலடங்கா நட்சத்திரங்களைப் போல் இருந்தார்கள்.

சரி நாம் முடிவுக்கு வரலாமா? அதற்கு முன்னால் ஒரே ஒரு வேண்டுகோள்.இந்த வார்த்தைகளை உங்கள் மனதில் பொறித்து வைத்துக்கொள்ளுங்கள்.பயப்படாதே, .........(உங்கள் பெயர்) நான் உனக்குக் கேடகமும் உனக்கு மகா பெரிய பலனுமாயிருக்கிறேன்.ஒருவேளை ,இன்று உங்களுக்கு முற்றுப்புள்ளி இல்லாத வாழ்க்கையின் தொடக்கமாக இருக்கலாம்.தொடர்ந்து மகிழ்ச்சியாகப் பிரயாணம் செய்யுங்கள்.தேவன் தாமே உங்களை ஆசீர்வதிப்பாராக.....
