The Way Faith can Help you to Overcome Anxiety

Anxiety belongs to the number of common emotional issues in modern world. As a result of the necessity to deliver, fear of the future, finances, relationship issues, and health matters are just among the few that illustrate how many people are wrecked with anxiety. Yet, there is a silver lining to any believer, you do not necessarily need to work through anxiety alone.

Faith will help to have good base during the hard times. It makes us cease being apprehensive of something and start having confidence in it. It stops us being in a state of chaos and being in peace. It causes us to begin to be hopeless and turns around and makes it into hope. In this paper, we would come to know how one can use faith in God to get rid of anxiety and this would be supported by bible, reality and practical way outs applicable to when one is going through it.

Anxiety What is it?

Anxiety does not only entail worrying. It can be hardly visible weight: a chest tightens, thoughts is dashing, there is no sleep even at night, one seriously feels that something terrible is going to happen.

According to the medical research, in the event that the brain reacts to either fight or flight, the result is anxiety. However using medicine it is possible to cope with the symptom, but with faith there is something more, it is inner strength and spiritual cure.

How do you find the reference to anxiety in the bible?

The Bible is flooded with encouraging statements to individuals who are fearful or care what happens. God never gives the promise of a trouble free life but He gives the promise of being in the middle of trouble.

Following are some of the great verses:

Philippians 4:6-7:P
that thou mayest have respect unto thyself, to none: but through every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make thy request know unto God. And the peace of god, which passeth all understanding, shall reign in your hearts and in your mind, through Christ Jesus.”

Isaiah 41:10(NIV):
Fear ye not therefore, O ye people, saith our King, because thou art not judged: but I am with thee. And I will strengthen and I will provide unto thee of help.

One of those happens to read as follows: 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV):
Believe in Him in your heart, and trust Him, and He is he who will care about you.

These lines do not rule out the fact of concern but rather give an opportunity of letting it be given up to God since he is the master of it.

1. The philosophy of faith changes our addiction

There is a chance of developing some form of anxiety when we contemplate of what-ifs. What can I transform myself to when I lose my job? What occurs in a case of a bad diagnosis? And how can the things not be better?

It is faith however which will give us the grace that will enable us to see past the storm and onto the savior.

Peter had been already in the act of walking on the water and as long as he looked up to Jesus he was floating over them (Matthew 14:2831) and as soon as he looked at the storm outside he began to sink. And in that same tab we may live in peace and not in peace as all this will be determined by what we are meditating on.

Faith says:
No day in my life will pass but I will realize that someone will live the next day.

🕊️ 2. God provides peace which is un-describable of religion

It is a loud sound of the frantic voices. Not just the thing that makes you not sleep at night and be afraid of it, it may also make you lose pleasure. Nevertheless, there is a super-natural peace possessed by God (it rests your heart in a condition where things are just as they are, e.g. it makes no difference).

This peace is the one that was talked about in Philippians 4:7 which said that the peace is beyond the understanding. It is not logical. and that also is godly as it is.

Practical tip:
Whenever you experience anxiety, take some time to sit there and pray within thirty seconds. Servant- pray/ O God Thy fear promise to me. Take Thy peace.” Practice it until many times.

3. The Scripture Makes Us Robust In Faith

When Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, He did not participate in the dialogue that He was quoting the Scripture. Tool is very contentious using the word of God to combat the thoughts of worrying.

Try to commit to memory or record verses which will be peaceful to you. These are only a few ones that you have to remember:

Psalms 94.19: I said, My foot slippeth: thy mercy, O Lord, held me up.

Josua 1: 9: Then fain thou not: nor fear, and neither turn away, and thou shalt see the presence of the lord thy God where thou goest thre.

John 14:27: – Peace I give unto you; my peace I leave with you … Be not affrighted: nor be ye fearful.

Faith will grow by being fed by the truth. God can scream His promises louder than what you can speak out your worries.

🌼 4. Religion Makes the Person to Live a Life of Thankfulness

As long as there is something, that we lack, that we believe that we need, anxiety comes into shape. But thankfulness is the factor which produces the difference between thinking about lack and plenty.

1 Thessalonians 5:18, [says] Paul, Thanks every time. It does not imply that there is something to be grateful about in all things but we are able to provide a substitute that there is something we can be grateful to God even in pain.

Practical tip:
Buy a grateful journal or a diary. Write three things in which you are thankful every day and trivial things like I had a warm meal or the sun was shining.

Satisfaction and harmony are the results of appreciation.

5. Community also comes with Faith

Faith is not something that is supposed to be walked alone. God has given us the church and fellowships, small group, and prayer partners so that they can carry our burdens.

When you are drained with anxiety, talk to someone who will listen, pray, and walk with you. People are very often used by God in the process of bringing healing.

Galatians 6:2:
Bear ye one another,s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

Don’t isolate. Connect  God functions through the community.

🌅 6. Faith Aids Us in Trusting the timing of God

One thing that could make someone very anxious is the need to take everything under control. However, with faith we are taught to surrender and leave it to god.

Ecclesiastes 3:11:
He has set eternity in their heart and this has made everything beautiful in its time.

It might not be when you want it but your breakthrough, healing or answer will come. Religion makes people wait patiently but not with dread.

Expect that nothing is nothing and God is always at work behind the scenes.

Real Testimony: Attainment of serenity using Religion

Once I was an individual with crippling anxiety. I corresponded, was afraid of everything, their loss of job, becoming sick, staying lonely. I tried everything; therapy, breathing techniques, also medication. Alongside with the helped people, the greatest breakthrough in reality came when I began to read the Psalms each evening.

I found out that God, was not just a concept; he was my place of hiding. I had the psalm 23 rd in memory, and would mutter, the Lord is my shepherd, and panicked on it. In stages, the fearful feeling was replaced by the peaceful one. This is because faith did not enable me to resolve all my problems rather it enabled me to survive them.

The Stranger Reader

By believing in scripture we can live in this scared world. The following are the five Biblical pointers to go ahead into the world full of fear.

1. Pray -  Discuss your problems with God everyday truthfully.

2. Eat the Word - Read God words in the mind daily.

3. Stay in contact - Communicate with religious characters with whom you can open up to.

4. E.G. Praise often - Praise will alter the tone of your soul.

5. The strategy of surrendering - Raise your shield and trust in God.

Anxiety is along for the ride, not the driver. You can receive a life of peace joy and faith.

Believe that god hears your prayers and knows your heart. Even in the midst of your storm he is a straw to cling on to.

Always know that you are never alone god walks beside you.

 Devotional prayer

 Heavenly Father,

I bring You a heart so filled with worry. There are unanswered questions that rest incredibly heavy on my mind, concerns that seem too big to confront and fears that dare to threaten my peace. But I have decided to believe that You are stronger than my fears. You are my refuge and strength an ever present help in trouble.

Alright, God, here it is—no filter. My brain’s basically a three-ring circus, my nerves are fried, and I’m so done pretending like I’ve got my act together. Truth is, I have zero clue what is next. So, honestly You take the wheel. I want that wild, impossible peace you’ve got the kind that makes no sense, but somehow hushes the chaos in my chest. When I start spinning out, when my heart is racing like I just ran a marathon for no reason, just, I do not know, cut through the noise and say something. Anything. Even if it’s just, Hey, chill, I’m here. Breathe. I got you. Show me how to actually trust you, even when everything’s upside down and my life looks like a junk drawer. Give me faith. And, uh, thanks for not ditching me when Iam a disaster, for letting me rant, and for always showing up whether I need a miracle or just to ugly cry on your shoulder. In Jesus name, Amen.
